How to Configure your MTN AIRTEL ETISALAT and GLO Internet Settings For Androids

It marvels me to know that till now, not everyone using a phone, be it android, blackberry, or java knows how to configure or set up their phone to access the internet with their various sim cards.
Yes, I have seen a friend that has upto 250mb  on his phone but due to he dont have the technical know-how on how to set up his phone to browse the internet, he left the free 250mb unused not until I noticed it and asked him, whats up?; he told me that "O boy that stuff doesnt work on phone." Then I laughed within me and later taught him how to configure his phone to browse, and today he is happy and able to set up any phone to browse the net manually.



Before I for forget the reason for this post. Today, I want to share how you
can configure your Android phone manually. By the end of this post, you will be able to configure your Android manually if it doesn�t receive automatic configuration settings irrespective of the Android model you�re using on your MTN, AIRTEL, ETISALAT and GLO sims.

MTN Configuration Settings

Account Name: MTN Nigeria
Access Point or APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
IP or Proxy: 010.199.212.002
Port: 8080
Username: web
Password: web


AIRTEL Configuration Settings

Acccount Name: Airtel NG
APN: internet.ng.airtel.com
Proxy: leave blank
Port: leave blank
Username: wap
Password: wap


ETISALAT Configuration Settings 

Account Name: ETISALAT
Access Point or APN: etisalat
IP or Proxy Address: 010.071.170.005
Port: 8080
Username: wap
Password: wap


GLO Configuration Settings

Account Name: GLO
Access Point or APN: glosecure
IP or Proxy Address: 010.100.098.022
Port: 3130
Username: wap
Password: wap
